Years(& years) ago my grandmother had a book on the Titanic and it contained a poem, but the book is gone and alas I can't remember anything of the poem but two small pieces of a couple of lines.(I was 6 yrs old when she read it to me- a LOOONG LONG Time ago. I know I'm looking for a needle in a haystack, but I would love to finally find the whole poem again.
All I can remember is this very little bit

They called her the ship that wouldn't go down,

but God with a twist of his mighty wrist and the sea was on top again.

If anyone could help me I'd sure appreciate it.:)

Hi. There is a book called 'titanica - the disaster of the century in poetry, song and prose'. It might be in that. The Isbn number is - 0-393-31873-7. It was edited by Steven biel and was published in 1998. Hope this has helped.
