Virtual Tour of Titanic

Hi there,

My father managed to find a virtual tour of Titanic on the internet the other day but has forgotten which website it was on. He commented to me that he was able to 'Dine with the Captin'

I have spent the last hour looking for it (including searching this website) with no luck. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

Thank you

The Cyberflix.com site used to have a nice virtual tour but it seems to be down at the moment. You can go to the HOME page here at ET and find a good tour. You will need the IPIX plug in to use it, but it is a free download and available on the opening page.

I downloaded this a couple of weeks ago and while I enjoyed it, I can't ever find anybody online to chitchat with. That is the point of the thing isn't it? To "meet on the Titanic" and chat? I'm not sure what that theater behind the staircase and art gallery where the lounge should be is all about, but still an interesting recreation of the ship. Any thoughts?

Hi all,

That wasn't the one my father was on although I have enjoyed playing on it.

Like yourself Matthew, I am not entirely sure what the actual point of it is, there is only a very limited amount of places you can go making it unexciting after 15/20 minutes.

It might be a bit better if there are actually people there to chat with. Aren't they (the owners/designers) going to do an upgrade or something to that effect in the future? Maybe we'll see some improvement. As for right now, call me dumb, but I'm just really not understanding the point. *shrug*. Like you say Cathy, it gets pretty dull after about 15-20 min. Have you tried the "fly" feature? It's entertaining to fly all over above the thing. They did a pretty good job on boat deck detail. I'll have to look at it again...it seems like they forgot to add lifeboat davits. ;-)
