Weather on Sailing Day

I was looking at a picture from when Titanic set sail and I was wondering, what was the weather like that day? Was it bright and sunny as depicted in James Camerons "Titanic" or was it foggy and cloudy, just a little thing I was wondering about.

Thanks,
Trent

Trent,
the sun peeked in and out of the clouds most of the day. As I recall, there was also a little breeze going on a day we would call partly sunny. You can see in some of the clearest pictures of Titanic at Southampton the broken cloud coverage. As far as temperatures went, I don't know off the top of my head. I could ask around, as I know the answers are just a few inquiries away.
