Ok that fixed it. I normally block cookies and everything..ie...pop ups trackers ect. It makes my machine run faster. But adding your site to exceptions seems to have fixed it. Must be something a little different from the older message baord. All good now. Thanks.

..the threads keep showing in a "New Posts" search even though I've seen all of the messages.

The same is happening today in this thread Which tugs were used to launch The Titanic on her maiden voyage? . The only recent activity was a comment added by Encyclopedia Titanica today.

The "Time and Again" thread says it has 16 pages but I can only load the first fifteen on multiple different devices and after rebooting and clearing the cache multiple times.

Don't know why. There are not 16 pages (at present), the final post added is the one that shows.

Some years ago we relaxed the real name rule but we are bringing it back.

I feel that in trying to create a community where we can trust as well as get to know each other pseudonyms are proving to be a major block. They also serve to embolden a small minority to post with, less restraint than they otherwise might.

Therefore, if you are not already doing so please post using your real name from now on. You can amend your profile here.

I realise there may be some circumstances where a real name is genuinely not appropriate and in those please message me directly and we can consider an exception.
