Hi Nick,

I think I'm right in saying that both decks were designed primarily for third class passengers but the crew almost certainly had access.

Also if you look at any cutaways of the ship there were major chunks of crew cabin space in those areas too, most probably for engineering and the steerage victualling dept.

Hi Stephen,

There were Cranes, Hatch Covers and Electric Winches located on both Well Decks; but there were NO crew cabin spaces. The firemen; trimmers and greasers were at the forward end of D; E; F and G-decks; with the Engineers being alongside the Reciprocating Engine Casing on F-deck. The 3rd Class stewards were on F-deck port side; forward and aft of the 3rd Class Dining Rooms.
