Were Isidor and Ida Straus really on the Olympic when she collided with the Hawke?

I remember hearing or reading that somewhere. Or is it just a legend?

Also, I think nurse Violet Jessup was on board the Olympic during the Hawke collision, the Titanic, and the Britannic during its sinking.

That is definitely right about Violet Jessop (yay, I know something) but I’ve never heard of the Strausses being on Olympic?
