What is this image

I've never seen this. Anyone know where I can see a larger copy?

You're not alone, Jon.

Apparently, there was a photograph of a sinking Britannic taken from land. Unfortunately this phhotograph is believed to have been lost in a house fire many years ago.

I was reading through another (what I call) "Jr" Britannic research site, and they're saying that a fight broke out between a husband and wife and one of the two threw something at the other and the mysterious Britannic Picture happened to be in the way and suffered major damage beyond recognition and was discarded (trashed).

Exactly, there are numerous rumors/speculations as to what happened to this picture. A true tragic loss, nontheless. If only we had that picture for analysys today, we could probably learn a lot more or at least be able to venture several more guesses as to how she actually went down. Though, I'd be willing to put my faith in the experts who say that her bow hit the bottom first with the stern still slightly sticking out of the ocean, until it follows the rest of it's ship and settled peacefully on the bottom, as evidence brought back by divers would suggest given the massive tear in the Britannic's port side.
