What is your all time favorite Titanic photo

Do you have an all time favorite Titanic photograph? Ive very keen on the Beken photo, the stern shot. The deatil is so crisp, one can practically hear the ship sail by. Another favorite was an unbublished one I saw sell on Ebay- a STERN shot of Titanic pulling away from Southampton dock.

ive never seen the stern view at southampton, is it possible someone has it to display as I'd love to see it.
I have many favourite images of the ship.
Think one that springs to mind in the picture of her in Queenstown taken at the stern where you can clearly see both the name and port of Liverpool.

Don,

That photo you refer to was not the last photo taken of the Titanic ... at least out of those publicly known. There was an article in last year's (September 2001) Irish Titanic Historical Society journal by Sen Molony that shows and has a 17 page article about the last photo and the man who took it. It shows the Titanic stopped, dropping off the pilot.

Daniel.

My favourite photo is the one taken of her at full length, just as she is beginning her maiden voyage.

Best regards,

Jason

I can't say as I have any particular favourites, but the crisp and clear photos in Birth of the Titanic score high in my book, as do the remarkable photos taken by Fr. Brown.

I like the good Friday ones (P84 of 'TITANIC VOICES') With all the flags. Also It's not strictly of the ship but the one on page 118 of Lightoller and Murdoch looking out the bridge wing (i think) Is one of my favourites.

Katherine

Its the only known stern view of the ship pulling away from the dock....
