Height from Boat Deck to waterline amidships at time of accident: 60.5' (approx.)

Height from Look-out cage to waterline: 95' (approx.)

Distance from navigating bridge to stem: 190'

Steel Decks enumerated:
- Boat (500' length approx.)
- A (500' length approx.)
- B (550' length) Forecastle deck (125' length) Poop deck (105' length)
- C (extended length of ship) Well decks (each 50' length approx.)
- D (extended length of ship)
- E (extended length of ship)
- F (extended length of ship)
- G (from the stem up to the forward boiler casing, then again abaft the turbine engine-room to the stern)
- Orlop (from the stem up to Boiler Room #6, then again abaft the turbine engine-room to the stern) Lower Orlop (from the stem through No. 1 hold)
