Hello, Christina---

Except for Californian, histories of all of these ships (and then some) are on greatships.net, a site of which I am quite fond.

;-)

Carpathia: http://www.greatships.net/carpathia.html
New York: http://www.greatships.net/newyork.html
Oceanic: http://www.greatships.net/oceanic2.html
Mount Temple: http://www.greatships.net/mounttemple.html
Adriatic: http://www.greatships.net/adriatic2.html

As to Californian:

9 November 1915: Californian (Leyland Line) is torpedoed and sunk off Cape
Matapan, Greece, while on a trooping voyage from Saloniki to Marseilles,
with one fatality. (Sources: Reade's The Ship That Stood Still; Bonsor's
North Atlantic Seaway; The New York Times, 11 November 1915.)
