White Star Line History Website

For the last two years we have been researching the White Star Line with the aim of creating a website.

The website contains or will contain, when completed ship histories, company information and biographies of the people that managed the ship and company.

We are currently editing the content to start to add the remaining and final draft content to the website throughout the next month.

The website has already got a number of first and final draft pages online.

The address is:

http://www.wslhistory.webs.com/

Nice start, Tom.

You have some pretty obscure incidents involving White Star ships on the individual ships' pages. Where are you getting your info from?

Thanks.

I have been using any reliable source of information I could find and I looked at everything related to the White Star Line at Liverpool (not that there is much of an archive for white star). Most of my newspaper sources are from The Times and the New York Times. I used books written by White Star crew, such as Dr Joseph Maguire’s book.

My collection of White Star Line postcards and promotional and passenger information has been useful.

I have got a list of sources that is waiting to go online, soon.
