Please email me if you have this info. My father was born on April 15th and would love to know who the passenger was that had a birthday on the day that the ship went down. Email: [email protected]
I may be wrong, but I believe third-class passenger Alfred Rush celebrated a birthday on April 14th -- turning 16. At this age he considered himself a man and stayed back with Frank Goldsmith and Thomas Theobald and went down with the ship.
There were a few passengers who celebrated a birthday during their Titanic voyage. I don't have the info at the moment, but if track it down I'll be sure to post it.
I remember reading about an Irishman who turned thirty-seven that day. His name escapes me at the moment, but maybe someone knows who I'm talking about.

I have too say one thing about what Ian Stuart Yardley said.
