I don't think so. Phillips was busy transmitting passenger messages via Cape Race on Titanic, and there were no press updates on Titanic's speed as far as I know. Any correction, as always, is welcome.
To the best of my knowledge, the idea of the Titanic arriving early was one which was discussed only amongst those involved with the ship; it would have been unwise to alert the press to such a possibility too early on incase it did not eventuate.
