I've been looking allover the internet for the kinds of woods used mainly on the decks but all i can find is that the decks themselves were made mainly of pine with teak in strategic places however i have yet to find what kind of wood was used for window trimmings and what not (i dont know if this question has been asked i've looked but its like 4 in the morning here ^_^)

Looking at windows that survive today from the Olympic they are made of oak so I would say it's a safe bet that the same was true to those on Titanic. A few of the classic arch shaped ones that formed part of the entrance to the grand staircase on Olympic were sold a few years ago. Considering they were well over 90 years old they were still in pretty good shape…I would say oak was predominantly used for most exterior windows as it's really tough wearing.
