Can anyone shine any light on the subcontractors who did the woodwork on the Titanic.

I have heard that HH Martyn of Cheltenham would probably have done it as they fitted out many ships of this era, but I can't find any details as they weren't a Limited Company at this time and all their ancient records were deliberately destroyed for privacy reasons when the company ceased trading.

Has anyone got access to this info?

Regards,

Craig

Harland & Wolff had their own joinery and cabinet making workshops, so there would have been little need for subcontracting.
