Would Britannic have had a piano like Olympic and Titanic?

In addition to the multiple pianos installed on the Olympic-class, a large pipe organ built by Welte Philharmonic was planned and built for Britannic. There is *some* debate as to whether it was installed aboard before the ship's hospital ship duty.

It was restored by a Swiss museum in 1969, and they found the ship's name on many of the parts which indicated its origin. There are several articles with more background on this organ, and even YouTube clips of it being played.

Yes, I've seen those videos. Her organ sounds wonderful for being 100+ years old. It's like hearing Britannic's voice!

If you've ever played or heard of TVRPG (Titanic Voyage RPG,) I'm making a website game like that. But the only difference is instead of the Titanic, its the RMS Britannic, so that's why I'm wondering. I'm just trying to get as much information as possible.

As a musician and played the piano since age 3, as you can imagine also a Titanic buff... This topic has always been of extreme interest.

If there were piano's, would be awesome to find out what brand's were chosen. The German Knake, or only "an English" piano's to be "patriotic"?

Was not there one older Titanic movie in which the grand piano slides and crashes in final scenes of Titanic sinking?

From my reading of Titanic-The Ship Magnificent, most if not all the pianos were by Steinway.

Steinway Pianos were never as good as the Lowry Organ - I mean you can't play the Cha Cha, a Rhumba, or a Bosonova on a Steinway, and the Lowry has lights too... and lots of foot pedals.

This is a video from the Titanic's Organ Lounge -
