The Wiltshire auction house of Henry Aldridge & Son has become famous for its twice-annual Titanic and Maritime History Auctions. The opportunity for people to sell items of Titanic interest that have lain hidden in attics and callers for generations has provided Titanic researchers with a wealth of new research material, and offered members of the community the possibility of owning physical objects with a tangible connection to the Titanic story.
