DEATH OF HEROIC WIRELESS OPERATOR'S MOTHER

The death has occurred at Godalming, at the age of 80, of Mrs. Phillips, mother of Jack Phillips, the heroic wireless operator, who remained at his post until the last when the liner Titanic sank at sea on April 15th, 1912.
