MILWAUKEE COUNTY--COUNTY COURT--IN PROBATE
IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF EDWARD GIFFORD CROSBY,
DECEASED:
A true and perfect inventory of all the Real Estate
and of the Personal Property of Edward Gifford Crosby,
deceased, late of the County of Milwaukee, made by
last will and testament of the said deceased, with the
aid of Charles F. A. Hintze and Fred W. Rogers, they
having been appointed and sworn appraisers: containing
a full, just and true statement of all the Real Estate
and of all Personal Property of the said deceased
which has come to the possession or knowledge of said
executrix or to the possession of any other person for
her up to and including the day of the verification
hereof.
INVENTORY
REAL ESTATE: None
PERSONAL PROPERTY:
1899 shares of the capital stock of the Crosby
Transportation Company, a corporation of Milwaukee,
Wis., which corporation was incorporated for
$200,000.00, consisting of 2000 shares of the par
value of $100.00 each, and that the property of said
corporation consists of the following named steamers
and their equipment, viz:
STEAMER NYACK
STEAMER E.G. CROSBY
STEAMER CONESTOGA
STEAMER MAY GRAHAM
--all steam vessels duly licensed and enrolled and
hailing from the port of Milwaukee.
That in addition to such steamers and their
equipments, there was due and owing to said Crosby
Transportation Company at the time of the death of
said deceased, book account resources to the amount of
$12,940.00
That at the time of the death of said deceased, there
were outstanding liabilities of the Crosby
Transportation Company, being bonded indebtedness, and
liens upon said steamers and obligations of said
Company to the amount of $181,053.55.
That a statement of such additional resources and of
liabilities is hereto annexed, marked Schedule A and
made a part of this inventory, which said 1899 shares
of stock we appraise at: NO MARKET VALUE
