Mr. Ernest Moraweck struck dumb!

Presented with $200 diamond stud

Courier Journal (Louisville, Kentucky)

In the office of the Frank Fehr Brewing Company yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock Mr. Ernst Moraweck, who for the past five years has been city collector and solicitor for the brewery, was suddenly struck speechless by Mr. J. F. Kellner, President of the brewing company.

Mr. Kellner presented Mr. Moraweck, on behalf of the company, a $200 diamond stud.

Mr. J. George Ruckstuhl, Vice President of the company, responded for Mr. Moraweck, who could do nothing but bow.

The presentation speech of Mr. Kellner was short, but to the point. All the officers of the company were present.

Mr. Moraweck had been connected with the brewery, as collector, for five years, until he resigned on January 1. He will soon commence the study of medicine.

During the time he had been with the company thousands of dollars have passed through his hands, but his accounts always balanced to a cent. Mr. Moraweck is married, and lives at Seventeenth and Jefferson streets.
