Harry Cotterill's father, Thomas Cotterill died in November 1898, aged 45. He was buried in Penzance Cemetery.
Harry's mother died on 6 June 1940, aged 81 and was buried with her husband, there is no gravestone marker. Her administration report of 8 July 1940 reveals that she left effects to the value of £326 12s 9d to her son Charles George Cotterill (occupation railway shunter). Her last address in Penzance was 44 Leskinnick Terrace.
