SHREWSBURY--Felix R. Asplund, 73, of 39 Fairlawn Circle died yesterday in his home.
Mr. Asplund was a draftsman for Coppus Engineering in Worcester for 35 years, retiring in 1972.
He leaves a sister, Lillian G. Asplund of Shrewsbury, and several cousins.
Born in Sweden, he was the son of Carl O. and Selma A. (Johnson) Asplund. He lived in Worcester before moving here 32 years ago.
He was a member of Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church and the Coppus Engineering 25-year Group.
Mr. Asplund survived the sinking of the H.M.S. Titanic earlier this century.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. tomorrow in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester. The Rev. Clifford Gerber will officiate.
Burial will be in Old Swedish Cemetery, Worcester.
There are no calling hours.
The family requests that flowers be omitted.
