The husband was drowned. He was in the motion picture business, earning about 5,000 dollars a year and was returning from a business trip, bringing films and other property of considerable value, which was lost He is survived by the wife and two sons, aged 25 and 20 years, both of whom have positions paying moderate salaries. The widow owns her home. The two sons will live with her. The husband left 2,000 dollars life insurance and other property sufficient to provide comfortably for the widowd. After the estate was settled, she withdrew her application for assistance.

The sons were John S. Harbeck, born 27 April 1887, passed away 21 May 1917 and Stanley Harbeck, born 23 February, 1892, passed away 22 July 1947. Catherine Steller (or Stetter) Harbeck, the wife/widow was born in September, 1863 and passed away on 18 May 1940. William Harbeck seems to have been born in September, 1863, much as his wife, which would have made him 48 at the time of the sinking.
