In Memoriam SS Titanic, 1912

This splendid document was published just days after the sinking of the Titanic. Its title is 'Souvenir in affectionate remembrance of the Captain, Mates, Crew and Passengers who lost their lives by the foundering of the world's biggest liner S. S. TITANIC whilst crossing the Atlantic from Southampton to New York on the 15th, April 1912'. Three stanzas of 'Nearer my god to thee' were printed below, along with the liner's length, breadth and tonnage. Green and purple flowers were hand drawn all around the document. The drawing in the center is from a souvenir picture.

The Titanic disaster, and the appalling loss of life was due to human arrogance and the notion that we are the masters of things we create. It is sad to note, that to this day, we really haven't fully learned the lesson Titanic has tried to teach us. Kent Walker

As this is a rather unique piece of memorabilia, I am curious as to what something like this would be worth. I also can't help but agree with Kent.
