Amongst various stories of church services after the disaster, Roman Catholic priest of St Marys Church in Coventry; on Sunday morning Reverend R. F. Rea said in church that amongst those lost were two Irish priests and a number of Catholics belonging to the crew including Chief Purser Hugh McElroy (sic), whose two sisters were educated at St Josephs Convent, Gosford Green in Coventry, where their mother remains in residence at that time.
