FUNERAL SERVICES SET THURSDAY FOR WIFE OF PROFESSOR

Mrs. Emma Mock von Faber du Faur, wife of Prof. Curt von Faber du Faur of Yale University, died Tuesday at her home, 334 Edwards St. She was 84 years of age.

Born in New York City May 23, 1876, Mrs. von Faber de Faur and her husband came to this country from Italy in 1939 and took up residence here. Prof. von Faber du Faur is research professor emeritus of German literature and bibliography and is also curator of the Yale Library's German literature collection.

Besides her husband, Mrs. von Faber du Faur leaves a daughter, Mrs. (sic) Beatrice Schabert of this city and a son, Kyrill Schabert, children of a former marriage. Schabert is president of the Pantheon Book firm in New York City. Mrs. von Faber du Faur is also survived by five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the von Faber de Faur home Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The Rev. William G. Kibitz, rector of Christ Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in St. James Episcopal Church Cemetery, St. James, Long Island, N.Y.
