SURVIVOR OF TITANIC MRS. M. WREN DIES FUNERAL FRIDAY

Mrs. Mathilde Francoise Pede Wren, well-known singer and one of the survivors of the Titanic disaster in 1912, died in the Western Division of the Montreal General Hospital last night after a lengthy illness.
   Born in Ghent, Belgium, Mrs. Wren had lived in Montreal for about 40 years and was an active member of the Westmount Women's Club for many years.
   She was the founder of the Belgian Musical Club and was decorated by King Albert of Belgium after the First World War for services rendered allied troops during the war.
   Funeral will be held at 9 am Friday at St. Augustine of Canterbury Church. Interment will be in Cote des Neiges cemetery.
   There are no immediate survivors.
