Age 85. Passed away Dec. 15 at her residence. Mrs. Emerson was born in Raymond Center on December 20, 1866 and had lived in Racine for the past 70 years.
On August 25, 1915, she was married to Elmer Emerson. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Christian Mother's Society and Florence Nightingale Society.
Mrs. Emerson was the only Racine survivor of the Titanic, which sank in the North Atlantic, before midnight, on April 14, 1912.
Surviving are her husband, Elmer Emerson; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 9 A.M. in the Strouf Funeral Home and 9:30 A.M. in St. Mary's Church, Rev. Henry C. Stehling officiating.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Strouf Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon and evening and until service time on Thursday.
The Rosary will be recited Wednesday evening, 8 o'clock, in the funeral home.
