Funeral services for Harold T. Johnson, 60, of Wayne were held on Friday at the Yurs Funeral Home in St. Charles with Rev. Myron Holmgren of the West Chicago Bible Church officiating. Burial was in the Little Woods Cemetery.
Born in St. Charles on January 28, 1908, Mr. Johnson had lived in this area all of his life. He was employed at the International Harvester Company in Melrose Park until his retirement in 1967. He was a member of the St. Charles Moose.
Surviving are his wife, Harriet; a son, Richard of Franklin Park; a daughter, Jane, living at home; his mother, Mrs. Carl Peterson of St. Charles; three sisters, Mrs. Delbert (Eleanore) Shuman of Elgin, Mrs. Charles (Hedvig) Behrens of South Elgin, and Mrs. Marcel (Irene) Van Tournout of St. Charles; four brothers, Herbert Johnson of Seattle, Vernon Peterson of South Elgin, Clifford Peterson of Elgin, and Einar Peterson of Batavia.
