Services for David Vartanian, a survivor of the 1912 Titanic disaster, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Sarkis Armenian Church, 19300 Ford Rd., Dearborn.
Mr. Vartanian, 76, died Wednesday in Detroit Memorial Hospital.
He was retired employee of the McLouth Steel Corp.
Mr. Vartanian was aboard the liner Titanic while immigrating to the United States from Europe. The ship struck an iceberg in the Atlantic and sank with the loss of 1,517 lives.
Survivors include his wife, Mary B., a son, Jack; two daughters, Mrs. George Vartanian and Mrs. Dan Wojdylack; and three grandchildren.
Burial will be in Woodmere Cemetery.
