FUNERAL SET FOR CREWMAN ON TITANIC

Funeral services for A. E. Horswill, 83, of Humble, a crewman aboard the Titanic when it sank April 14, 1912, will be conducted at 10 AM Tuesday in the Community Baptist Church, Humble.
   Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The Rev. William Hardin will officiate.
   Horswill died Saturday, one week before the 50th anniversary of the Titanic's sinking.
   Following the tragedy, he gave up the sea and took up painting and carpentry in Gary,Ind., where he lived until his retirement in 1946.
   He lived with his wife, Augusta, and youngest son, Leroy, 33, at 14336 Rawlings, in Humble Acres.
   Other survivors include sons, Walter of Humble and Albert, Jr., of Chicago; a daughter, Mrs. William E. Wilson, Gary, Ind., and eight grandchildren.
