J. P. MORGAN IN ROME (1)

The New York Times

Seems in Good Health, but Doctors Say He Must Have Absolute Rest
---
By Marconi Transatlantic Wireless Telegraph to The New York Times
---
ROME, March 13---The extraordinary reports that have recently been
circulated regarding J. Pierpont Morgan's heatlth were contradicted in the
most conclusive manner by the appearance of the great financier on his
arrival in Rome to-day, when his stalwart figure, firm step, and genial
manner when he was welcomed by Prof. Carter and other friends at the railway
station attested his recovery.

Mr. Morgan showed keen interest in photographs brought by Prof. Carter,
showing the latest work on the splendid new buildings of the American
Academy now rising on the Janiculum Hill.
