TITANIC SURVIVOR IS GIVEN A RECEPTION
Miss Laura Cribb, 17 years old, a survivor of the Titanic disaster, was given a farewell reception last night by Mrs. Lillian Clark, in her home, 34½ Elizabeth Avenue. Miss Cribb is about to return to her home at Lower Parkstone, Dorset, England.
The young woman is still nervous as a result of her harrowing experience. In the wreck she lost her father. The latter, seeing the ship was doomed, fastened a life preserver about her and placing her in a lifeboat kissed her goodbye. Although she pleaded with him to join her he refused. Miss Cribb has made the trip across the Atlantic eight times.
