Daughter of Former Senator Hawes of Missouri Bride in Ceremony Here

Mrs. Eppes Hawes Preston, daughter of former Senator and Mrs. Harry B. Hawes of Missouri, was married to Lloyd Moore of this city, son of the late Clarence Moore of Washington, yesterday noon in Christ Methodist Episcopal Church, Park Avenue and Sixtieth Street. The ceremony was performed by the pastor, the Rev. Dr. Ralph W. Sockman, in the presence of the bride's uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Gwynne Robinson of New York, and Beverly Sinclair of this city and Washington.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the apartment of Miss Susanne Rosenberg, 270 Park Avenue.
Mr. Moore and his bride will go to Palm Beach and return to Washington to spend the Christmas holidays with Senator and Mrs. Hawes and their daughter, Miss Payton Hawes, who are now on their way from the Philippines. Mr. and Mrs. Moore will reside in Old Brookville, L. I.
Mrs. Moore's marriage to Lewis Thompson Preston of this city, which took place in Washington in 1930, was terminated by divorce in Reno in September, 1934.
Mr. Moore's father lost his life in the sinking of the Titanic. His mother, who died two years ago, was the former Miss Maybelle Swift of Chicago. After Mr. Moore's death she was married to Aksel C. P. Wichfeld. The marriage ended in divorce in 1932.
