How Milton C. Long of this city, son of Judge and Mrs Charles L. Long, met his death in the wreck of the Titanic, is told the first time by John B Thayer Jr of Philadelphia in a dispatch to the Associated Press last evening. This is the first mention of Mr Long that has come out in the many wreck stories. With young Thayer, he leaped from the liner’s side as she was settling to her last plunge beneath the waters.
