Massachusetts Man Just Learns of Relatives' Deaths

Haverhill, Mass., May 8---Thomas N. Watson of this city has just learned that nine of his relatives, including two married sisters and their families, were lost when the liner Titanic went down.  The party was on the way from England to New London, Conn., where Watson lived until recently. They had planned to sail on another steamer and Watson had no inkling that they were on board the Titanic until word to that effect came from England.
