Memorial Services to Be Held in Brooklyn Churches Next Sunday.

In the Central Congregational Church, Hancock street, near Franklin avenue, a memorial service to the dead of the Titanic will be held at 7:45 o’clock next Sunday evening. The pastor, the Rev. Dr. S. Parks Cadman, will preach the sermon.

The Rev. U. G. Warren, pastor of the United Congregational Church, will preach on Sunday night on “The Tragedy of the Titanic, and Some Lessons From It.”

A memorial service for those who died in the Titanic disaster will be held in Christ Church, Bedford and Division avenues at 7:45 o’clock on Sunday evening. There will be appropriate music. Ferd V. Parr will play the “Dead March from Saul” by Handel, as the opening voluntary, and Chopin’s “Funeral march” as the closing voluntary.

The Rev. Dr. Robert Bagnell, pastor of Janes M. E Church, will preach on Sunday evening on “Lessons from the Titanic.”

In his First Baptist Church, Lee avenue and Keap street, the Rev. J. Austin Huntley, pastor, will refer to the Titanic disaster in his morning sermon on Sunday.

“The Titanic Disaster” will be the subject of the sermon by the Rev. Dr. William B. Wallace, pastor of the Baptist Temple, Third avenue and Schermerhorn street on Sunday evening.

In the First Church of Williamsburg, Division avenue and Clymer street, the pastor, the Rev. Alexander Wouters, will preach on Sunday morning on “The Recent calamity of the Titanic.”

“The Great Disaster” will be the subject of the sermon by the Rev. Dr. Llewellyn L. Henson in the Hanson Place Baptist Church on Sunday morning.

Dr. Thomas Edward Patterton, pastor of the Church of Our Father, Grand avenue and Lefferts place will preach on Sunday morning on “The Tragedy of the Sea.”

 A memorial service for those who lost their lives in the Titanic disaster will be held in the Beecher Memorial Congregational Church, Herkimer Street and Rockaway avenue on Sunday evening.

A memorial service for the Titanic dead will be held in Trinity Baptist Church, Greene and Patchen avenue on Sunday evening. The pastor, the Rev. Robert E. Hall will preach on “The Lights and Shadows of the Great Disaster.”

The Congregational Shaari Zedel, Putnam avenue, near Behl avenue, will hold a memorial service for those who lost their lives in the Titanic disaster on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
