FRITHAM
Titanic disaster. – A memorial tablet has been erected in the Free Church in memory of four members of the church who perished in the Titanic disaster. The inscription reads: – "In memoriam. Erected to the memory of Louis Hickman, age 32 years, Leonard M. Hickman, aged 24 years, Stanley C. Hickman, age 21 years, sons of Herbert and Emily Hickman; Percy W Deacon, aged 17 years, son of William and Kate Deacon, formally members of the Sunday school, and were victims of the Titanic disaster, April 14, 1912. Surely he has borne our groups and carried house solos. Isa[iah] 53, 4." the work was carried out by Mr John Grace, of Romsey.
