Mrs. Emily Thomas Blackwell wife of Stephen Weart Blackwell of New York City was buried in the Old School Baptist Churchyard in this place saturday afternoon. The funeral was held from the residents of ex-Senator Jonathan H. Blackwell father in-law of the deceased in Trenton and was largely attended. The florist display was gorgeous.
Mrs. Blackwell was well known here, her husband being nephew of Nelson D. and David B. Blackwell, resident of this borough. Mrs. Blackwell's death was due to typhoid fever. she was sick for weeks.
