W. B. Hibbs, Who Went To New York, Not Yet Heard From
---
No word from W. B. Hibbs was received at the residence of Clarence Moore this morning. Mr. Hibbs went to New York yesterday to obtain all possible information about Mr. Moore, who was aboard the Titanic and whose death seeems certain. Mrs. Moore, prostrated by the first news of the disaster, has recovered to a degree and was awaiting news this morning with more composure than she has yet displayed. All of Mr. Moore's children are in Washington.
It is supposed that a pack of fine hounds went to the bottom in the hold of the Titanic, which, had the vessel reached port, would have added to the luster of the Chevy Chase Club. It is said that the acquisition of such a pack was the chief purpose of Mr. Moore's trip to England.
