Chief of Titanic's Builders Greatly Impressed by Disaster

LONDON, Aug. 26---It is stated that Lord Pirrie, the chairman of Harland &
Wolff, the builders of the Titanic, has been so impressed by the disaster to
that vessel that he has decided to reconstruct his own yacht Valiant on
lines suggested by the foundering of the White Star vessel.
Meanwhile he will not allow the Valiant to be used.
