The remains of the late Leopold Weisz of Montreal who was a victim of the Titanic disaster reached the city on the Maritime Express train from Halifax on Saturday evening and was conveyed to the undertaking establishment of G. Armstrong and Co., Park Avenue.
The funeral was held this afternoon at 2 p.m., Rabbi Hermann Abramowitz conducting. Interment was made in the Jewish cemetery.
His wife is living at 2574 l'Esplanade Ave. will go back to her profession as dressmaker to support herself. Before her marriage she had a prosperous establishment in Birmingham which she sold for several thousand dollars.
This was lost with the Titanic.
