Mrs. Julia Florence Ismay, of Kensington Palace Gardens, West London, widow of Joseph Bruce Ismay, former chairman of the White Star Line Ltd., left estate in Britain valued at £160.664 12s. gross (£143.571 19s. 3d. net). Duty of £98.474 has been paid.

She died on December 31.

Her bequests included: an annuity of £100 to "whoever will give a satisfactory undertaking" to be responsible for any dog in her possession at the time of her death; her Rolls-Royce and Humber Hawk cars and £500 to her chauffeur William Prior."
