Ed Kamuda
Edward S. Kamuda was an American historian and the founder of the Titanic Historical Society. He became fascinated with the history of the Titanic after watching the film “A Night to Remember” in 1956. In 1963, Kamuda founded the Titanic Enthusiasts of America (later renamed the Titanic Historical Society) in the 51st anniversary year of the sinking of the Titanic. He dedicated his life to preserving the memory of the Titanic and its passengers by collecting artefacts, documents, and stories related to the ship. Kamuda was known for his passion for the Titanic and his dedication to ensuring that the history of the ship was not forgotten. He passed away in 2014, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the world of Titanic history.
