I Died on the Titanic

Monica O’Hara is a medical journalist whose reporting is far removed from the sensation-seeking of some tabloid newspapers……..and yet she insists she died on the Titanic! From childhood, Monica had suffered from nightmares, flashbacks and a terror of deep still water and eventually her husband, Joe, suggested they try hypnotherapy to find possible answers.

Those answers contained as many surprises for Monica as they do for us. Under sessions of hypnotic regression, Monica recalled being Lucy Latimer, a victim of the Titanic disaster!

Lucy’s tale is one of human love, passion, obstinacy and fickleness pieced together in a riveting detective story and whether or not you believe in hypnotic regression or reincarnation, you will find this book fascinating and thought-provoking.

To Marc De Bruyne of Mortsel, Belgium -- guest book record #142.

Marc:
I also read most of Monica O'Hara's "I Died on the Titanic." It's interestesting but too far-fetched for me. It's hard to believe that she was an unknown fatality of the Titanic disaster in a previous life who can only remember this past life under hypnosis by her husband.

But, I may be naive -- I don't believe any of the JFK conspiracy theories either.

"Hands off the Titanic (and the Californian)"
"How to analyze hand-writing"
"New Hope Through Hypno-therapy"
and more.
You can probably get any of them direct from her. Drop me a note at [email protected] for the address.

You know, it's really weird how people (like me)are just so so so obsessed with Titanic and have no idea why? Just think. Open your mind. It may be possible that a spirit made it's way back from the spirit world and entered a living body, bringing along a sense of obsession about how they died with them, this case being the Titanic. My friend is also into Titanic (a little too much for others) and he was born in 1986, just around the time Titanic was discovered. Maybe that awoke some of those "lost" souls and brought them out of the ship and back to the living...

I work as an Intuitive/Psychic in NS Canada where the Titanic bodies are buried, and ever since the beginning of this century I seem to have made a connection with some of them. I know what you're thinking...yeah right! How can she say that? Well, it turns out that my last name is Stone and I came to find out that there is an E.J. Stone buried at the cemetery. Strange things have started to happen to me and my Mom (also a Psychic) since we found that out. I have written about our experiences and posted the physical evidence that has manifested. Have a look for yourself if you want to read about it www.psychicisland.com just click the Titanic Connection link and then the Psychic Connection link. I have also taken pictures of the newly refurbished graves to share with everyone. God Bless.

I have always had an "unnatural" fascination with the personal lives of the Titanic passengers. If I believed in reincarnation, I am not saying I do or not, then I would believe not that I was a passenger on the Titanic....but that I loved someone who was a passenger on the Titanic. Take it for what you will.

I've been looking for others with past-life memorys from the Titanic. I understand that this is hard to believe, but it has affected my present life in many ways. If you want to, you can read about it on my homepage at geocities.com/Area51/Hollow/3310/pastlives1.html So far, there are two pages about it ready, but I'm working on it to contain more. I haven't been able to include all the memorys yet, as it has been too painful, but slowly it's getting there. If anyone else have these kinds of memorys and are serious about it, you are welcome to contact me at the e-mail address found on my homepage.

It is so refreshing to learn that there are other people out there who are - for want of a better word (and I mean this in no way disrespectfully) OBSESSED!
I too have been intensely interested in the Titanic since I was a child of about 8 and I have never been able to satisfactorily explain why I should be so caught up in her story.
I also have a strong interest in that period in history, dating from around 1895 to 1935. That whole world has me in it's grip and simply wont let go!
I remember one kind of "spooky" thing that happened to me a few years ago. I was in a night club in Bridlington (Thats on the east coast of England - I live in the UK). I had been chatting to a very nice girl for a couple of hours, and had done all the things that an aveerage 18 year old does. At the end of the night, the last half hour before closing was when the smoochy songs were played, so I asked this girl for a dance. We got up onto the floor and without even realising it, I took hold of her just like you would if you were dancing in an old time ballroom - very formal and proper, my left hand on her hip, right hand holding hers way out high - just like something from a picture.
This of course only lasted for a few seconds before she stopped me and asked what I was doing!
And didnt I feel the idiot! But it always puzzled me as to why I should have acted in such a way.
It left me with quite a disturbed feeling actually, so I can relate quite well to some of the things that people have said on here. As to the "I died on the Titanic" woman, I havent read her story, so I really cant comment. But it does seem a bit, well Implausable?

I have left my email and welcome contact.
Thanks all.

I also have reasons ("cell memory" actually) to believe that I died on the Titanic. As one psychic discerned I was a third class passenger named Emily Vanderplanke, a 31 year old woman travelling with her husband and brother and sister-in-law. I believe she was either an unnamed body or was never recovered as I cannot find her name on any of the lists. I have had two many conscious "memories" of the ship and phoebias that can be directly related to the disaster. I have two other friends in this life who also feel that they were "there". I am looking for pictures of her, as I already have a biography of her and her family. My e-mail address is [email protected] if anyone wishes to chat with me about this subject.

This is the title of a book I bought about 5 years ago in Chester. Has anyone else read it and if so, what conclusions, if any, have you drawn? For anyone who hasn't read it, the author, a medical journalist, insists under hypnotic regression that she was Lucy Latimer, a passenger who was travelling under an alias with a forbidden lover. It's a fascinating read, given the fact that she names Mary Lennon as her alias and Denis Lennon (listed as Mary's brother) as her lover. I doubt if there's anything in it but it's extremely interesting, all the same.

Considering that the real Mary Lennon was traveling with her brother this doesn't bode well for the story. Go to https://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/bio/p/3rd/lennon_m.shtml and https://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/bio/p/3rd/lennon_d.shtml.

On the credibility of any such claims in general vis a vis past lives retrieved through hypnosis, you may wish to review the following;

http://www.skepdic.com/hypnosis.html and
http://www.skepdic.com/pastlife.html

Beyond offering these resources, I'll have nothing to do with this subject. Sorry if that sounds curt, but we've had discussions on claims of past lives on ET recently, and they became extremely unpleasant.

Cordially,
Michael H. Standart
