Description
In 1912 the Titanic, the largest ship in the world, set out on its maiden voyage to New York.
On board there were captains of industry, heiresses, desperate people fleeing from their countries, swindlers, artists, small shopkeepers in search of fortune. Everyone wanted a ticket to board the ocean liner deemed unsinkable by public opinion.
Instead, the Titanic tragically sank within a few hours after colliding with an iceberg.
How could such a disaster happen? And how many of the over 2000 people on board managed to reach the new world with their baggage of dreams and hopes?
