Description
From eight to eight. Twelve hours in the lives of Titanic passengers: A maiden voyage turns into a nightmare
1,309 passengers travel to New York on the Titanic. Among the passengers were millionaires and poor people, teachers and clergy, families and solo travelers. They all experience how a maiden voyage turns into an unfortunate voyage and the character of the journey changes dramatically. Only 500 passengers survived the Titanic’s sinking. The experiences of the passengers on the Titanic from the evening of April 14, 1912 to the morning of April 15, 1912 are the focus of this book. Numerous eyewitness accounts describe the dramatic turn that the Titanic’s maiden voyage took when a routine voyage turned into an ill-fated voyage.
