Mr Daniel McAllister

Daniel McAllister

Mr Daniel McAllister was born in Belfast, Ireland on 15 February 1883 and hailed from a Roman Catholic family.

McAllister appears on the 1911 census living at 27 Laganview Street in east Belfast and he is described as a sailor. Also listed with him was his wife of four years, Kate (b. circa 1886) but there is no known record for their marriage. They had no children at that point.

McAllister’s ship prior to Titanic had been the Olympic. He joined Titanic at Belfast for the delivery trip to Southampton where he then disembarked.

McAllister later returned to working aboard the Olympic. He died in Belfast on 9 March 1922 aged 39.
