James McGrady is interred at Fairview Lawn Cemetery

June 12th 1912 - After arriving aboard the steamer Florizel yesterday, the remains of steward James McGrady are interred at Fairview Lawn Cemetery; he is the last Titanic victim to be laid to rest in Halifax. Of the 337 bodies that have been recovered, 150 are buried in Nova Scotia. 43 of them remain unidentified, their headstones marked with only a number and the date they died, April 15th 1912.   (Photograph 1: Grave of James McGrady. Sinai Kantor's Pocket Watch

A pocket watch recovered from the body of Third Class Titanic victim Sinai Kantor. The watch features Hebrew numerals and is embossed on the reverse with an image of Moses holding the Ten Commandments. Sinai Kantor was emigrating to America from his home in the Russian Empire, with his wife Miriam.

The watch was auctioned in 2018 for $57,500.
