The Millionaire's Service
The Titanic and her sister ship the Olympic featured a special cobalt blue and gilt dinner service, popularly known as "The Millionaire's Service."
Created by Spode, the service was made of porcelain with a blue and white glaze and lavish gilt decoration.
Typically the elements of the service bear the OSNC (Oceanic Steam Navigation Company) motif, and a red stamp reading "White Star Line."
At present it is unknown whether these were used in a particular dining saloon or restaurant, or for some other use but examples have been recovered from the Titanic wreck site.
